报告题目:Compressible Navier-Stokes Equations: Well-Posedness and Asymptotic Analysis

报告摘要:In these three lectures, we will talk about recent progress on the well-posedness and asymptotic analysis for the compressible Navier-Stokes equations in the whole space. After a quick survey of the equations, we will begin with analysis of the linear equations via the dyadic decomposition in frequency space. Based on it, we will investigate two asymptotic limits: from Compressible flow to incompressible flow and from Non-isentropic flow to Isentropic flow in the so-called Critical Spaces. Finally, we will prove the global well-posedness of the equation with short-pulse type data which allows the density to be sufficiently large.
